Ducati grows 24% and exceeds 1,000 million revenues in 2022

The Italian company of the Volkswagen group scored a double title last year on the circuits: MotoGP and the Superbike World Championship

 

Ducati, the Italian company of the Volkswagen group, has invoiced 1,089 million euros in 2022, which is 24% more than the previous year when it registered a figure of 878 million.

 

During the announcement of the brand’s results, Claudio Domenicalli, CEO of Ducati, was very satisfied: “For the first time in our history, we have broken the barrier of 60,000 motorcycles and one billion euros in revenue.”

 

The operating profit also marks a record: it reaches 109 million euros, 77% more than in 2021 when 61 million was recorded and, consequently, the level of profitability also increased, reaching 10%. With the largest portfolio of models in its history, it registered 61,562 Ducati worldwide, 3.6% more than in 2021, in the wake of the double titles on the circuits: MotoGP and the Superbike World Championship.

 

At the end of 2022, Ducati had 821 points of sale spread across the 96 markets in which it is present, after adding Brunei, Ecuador, El Salvador and Mongolia.
