In addition to his success in the business world, André Stival also stands out as a chef and is preparing to open a restaurant
André Luis Stival Fonseca, 47, started his own business very early. At the age of 21, he founded a company in the vehicle, parts and automotive accessories sector. After graduating in Gastronomy and completing a postgraduate degree, he found his true passion for the gastronomic events market, providing meals for events, such as coffees, lunches and dinners.
“From then on, my career took off. I started serving large multinational companies, clients from the artistic world and participating in several gastronomy festivals and radio and TV programs”, he recalls.
Over the course of several events, André Stival observed some of his clients’ needs and some gaps in the events sector. He then began investing in materials and structures for event rentals, setting up another company specializing in the rental of equipment, materials and stand assembly at fairs throughout the country in the agribusiness, medical and hospital sectors, and others.
“Over the years, I have faced significant challenges, the worst of which was during the global pandemic, which resulted in the suspension and cancellation of all event contracts, generating huge losses for his companies,” he says.
However, his resilience and ability to adapt have driven him to seek new business opportunities. “I looked for new alternatives during the pandemic, setting up field hospitals, setting up and investing in a factory manufacturing disposable non-woven masks and gowns for hospital use. I saw a need in the market and decided to take a chance. I set up another company for the rental and sale of habitable modules (offices, accommodations, cafeterias, bathrooms and storage facilities) focused on the agribusiness market in Piauí, which later expanded to Tocantins, Maranhão and Bahia.”
With an entrepreneurial mindset, André Stival identified a new business opportunity in a conversation with a ride-hailing driver, resulting in the creation of a car rental company in Brasília (DF), a rental company specializing in vehicles for ride-hailing drivers.
Today, the entrepreneur has 7 companies in different sectors and in several Brazilian states, consolidating André Stival’s visionary vision as an entrepreneurial leader. “The group’s companies currently operate in the areas of Real Estate Development and Construction, Event Organization, Corporate Group Meals and Event Buffets, Car Rental, Housing Module and Container Rental, Automotive Parts and Accessories, Agroindustrial Services, Machinery and Implement Rental for Agribusiness, Grain Cultivation such as Soybeans, Corn, Cotton, and Cattle Raising for Beef”.
In addition to his success in the business world, André Stival also stands out as a chef, initially exploring his passion for cooking at home with family and friends until he participated in several events and festivals, becoming a professional and serving select and demanding clients, including artists, singers, and celebrities.
André Stival is currently focused on new promising projects. One of them is the opening of a barbecue restaurant (BBQ), with the innovative proposal of #VamosDefumarOMundo. This initiative promises to bring a unique gastronomic experience, combining rustic style with authenticity. It promises to provide exclusive experiences to the palate, not yet explored by customers.
