The Alegria One building, the latest rehabilitation project by EastBanc Portugal, marks the expansion of the fashion and luxury brand in the national territory
The prestigious Parisian brand inaugurates its first space in Portugal, at number 85, Avenida da Liberdade, and will occupy three floors of the Alegria One building, totaling 1,050 m2.
Dior is thus part of the most recent rehabilitation project by the real estate manager EastBanc, designed by architect Eduardo Souto de Moura, built at the end of the 19th century.
This historic building served as a residence for the Keil family until the mid-20th century, when they sold it to Companhia de Seguros Ultramarina, later Bonança and in 2007 it was acquired by EastBanc which is now promoting its rehabilitation.
Located between Avenida da Liberdade and Praça da Alegria, Alegria One was distinguished at the Salão Imobiliário de Lisboa 2022 with the award for the best urban rehabilitation project, in the retail and services category, for its architecture, modernity and efficient valences for new office and retail uses
